Labour Recovery Program

Protect your bottom line with coverage for your labour costs when performing warranty repairs.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Each participating Best Auto affiliate location must complete a one-time online registration form.
  • You must include your shop rate on the registration form and provide banking information in the form of a void cheque to receive Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) for your labour payouts.
  • Visit www.bestautolrp.ca/register-shop to complete the form.
  • Claims may not be submitted for original repairs that were done prior to your registration of the Best Auto LRP program.
  • Individual invoices do NOT need to be pre-registered in advance to qualify for the warranty program.

MAKING A CLAIM

  • Shops that purchased parts for both the original repair and the warranty repair from a Bestbuy Distributor location are eligible for a labour reimbursement at their registered door rate, up to $130 per hour, as recorded with Best Auto LRP.
  • The original and replacement part(s) must be purchased from a Bestbuy Distributor location. Any exception is subject to Bestbuy’s review and approval during the shop claim submission process.

TO SUBMIT A CLAIM

Documentation Required for a Claim

  1. Original repair invoice
  2. Original part invoice for parts purchased and installed during the original repair
  3. Warranty repair invoice
  4. Warranty part invoice for parts installed during the warranty repair

Invoices Must Include:

  • Business name, phone number, and postal code
  • Submitter’s name and email address
  • Invoice number and date
  • Vehicle year, make, model, serial (VIN) number, mileage, and license plate number
  • Customer’s first and last name
  • Customer’s email address or phone number

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • To submit a claim, please ensure you are signed up with Best Auto LRP
  • Final invoices showing the completion of the warranty repair must be kept on file and may be requested at any time.
  • Please submit only one claim at a time. Once that claim is processed, you may submit the next one.

Payment Process

Once a claim is submitted, we aim to respond within 5 business days, provided that all four required claim documents have been received.

Claim settlements require the shop’s approval by email before payment is issued by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to prevent disputes over the paid out claim. Please note depending on your banking institution, EFTs can take up to 3 business days to be reflected in your account.
